Examples of ACS sport events air charter

Heineken Cup

For the Heineken Cup Final in May 2008, Air Charter Service arranged numerous corporate and supporters’ flights to Cardiff Airport and neighbouring airports. ACS’s chartered aircraft included Fairchild Metros, Dornier 228s, a Fokker 100, a B737-800 and even a B747-400 for 580 passengers from Cork.

The Island Games

In 2009 Air Charter Service got five teams to The Island Games at Aland, between Sweden and Finland. ACS assisted teams from the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Shetland Islands, Gibraltar and Bermuda, arranging air transport for hundreds of participants and tonnes of equipment.
