The 2011 Rugby World Cup will be hosted by New Zealand. The international rugby union competition played every four years will see twenty teams battle it out over a total of forty-eight games, in an attempt to be crowned world champions at Eden Park in Auckland. The matches will be played across twelve of New Zealand’s best venues, in what is anticipated to be the largest sporting event ever to be held in the nation. Around 70,000 overseas visitors are expected to travel to the associated games of the host cities.
